Welcome

There may be a host of reasons why you are thinking of coming for counselling… Have you felt depressed, anxious, or angry for a long time? Are you having difficulty processing things that have happened in your past? Are there issues in your life that you struggle to make sense of? Do you want to build your self-confidence and find the power to change and be the person you want to be? Have you realised that you keep repeating the same self-defeating patterns and getting the same negative outcomes? Are you feeling overwhelmed by life’s obstacles?

Life can be challenging, but you have the ability to make profound and lasting changes. I can help.

How can Counselling help?

Counselling and therapy can be life changing, especially when experiencing difficulties or feeling that you do not have control of your life. It can help you to explore both yourself, and the issues you are facing. By understanding the ‘how’ and ‘why’, you are better placed to know, not only what you want to change but also how you can make those changes……leading to a happier and more fulfilling life. I can help you realise a truly positive experience that is solely about you, providing the opportunity for you to talk and explore your thoughts and feelings. The therapy session is your space where you will be listened to, heard, and understood.

About Me

I use an integrative approach aiming to help you gain a deeper insight into both past and present experiences, to help empower you to make informed choices that lead to those meaningful changes you desire. I do not ascribe to a ‘one size fits all’ ideal, preferring a flexible counselling approach ensuring therapy is a positive, compassionate non-judgemental experience. Enabling you to explore your issues within a trusting, warm, therapeutic relationship.

I work with adolescents and adults, offering both short-term and long-term counselling. Issues that I have experience working with include:

Anxiety, Bereavement and loss, Bullying, Depression, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Family issues, Loneliness, Relationship issues, Self-esteem, Sexual abuse, Work related stress

My work is fully rooted within the ethical framework of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), of which I am a registered member.

Fees : £65 per session
